A Fun-Filled Night of Questions and Community: Our Quiz Night at St Mary’s
On Saturday, 26th April, we hosted our highly anticipated Curry and Quiz Night at St Mary’s, and what a night it was! The event was a huge success, drawing in around 70 people for an evening filled with fun, friendly competition, and great food.
The night kicked off with delicious curry (thanks to our talented trustees for their amazing cooking skills!) and was followed by a quiz, testing our knowledge across everything from general trivia to pop culture. With teams huddled together, there was plenty of laughs, and nail-biting moments as we raced against the clock to answer the questions.
In addition to the quiz, we had a raffle with some fantastic prizes, which raised over £100 to support the ongoing work of Trafford Youth for Christ. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed and took part in the raffle! By the excitement didn’t stop there – our Centre Director, Matthew, took to the stage for a surprise juggling performance!
Thank You to Everyone Who Made It Happen
We’d like to express a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who attended and participated in the quiz. Your presence and support make all the difference in helping us raise both funds and awareness for the work we do with young people in Trafford.
A big thank-you to Matthew and Charlie for their fantastic hosting, keeping everyone entertained and ensuring the event ran smoothly. And of course, we couldn’t forget to thank our trustees, who went above and beyond — not only preparing for the event but also cooking for everyone and making sure everyone had a great time.
What’s Next?
With the success of this event, we are more motivated than ever to continue our mission and bring the community together in support of Trafford Youth for Christ.
